It’s time our generation ripped off the information tourniquet and let the truth about us all go free because we all have nothing to lose: we are all drug addicts in some way. To say Tony’s speech has changed my life forever would be a gross overstatement of the truth. The truth is, instead, that Tony served to teach me that there is a solution to this problem and that maybe one-day we will all change. For the time being, I will not purge myself of all charges of drug use (in one form or another) and the possibility of my excessive use of these drugs in the future is high, but at least at night I can sleep with the knowledge that one day things might change, if not now maybe later on, in the long night’s journey into day.
