Raewyn Whiting

RaewynWhitingRaewyn became a member of FDS in 2016, working as a volunteer on the Support Line and as a Group Facilitator.

Born and raised in New Zealand, she migrated to Australia in 1971 with her 2 sons. In 1984 Raewyn moved to the USA where she resided until 1999.

In a 20+yr career within the airline industry, Raewyn held various key positions in Customer Relations, Staff Training and Global Account Management. This has provided her with skill sets in negotiating, training delivery, sales, leadership techniques and teamwork.

Throughout her life, Raewyn has volunteered and created projects to assist individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by poverty, stigma and social injustice or drug and alcohol use.

She has a focused understanding and commitment to Harm Reduction, Social Justice and the Family Drug Support model.

Currently studying Cert IV in AOD, Raewyn has completed studies in Advanced Coach Mastery, NLP and Matrix Therapies, and has been engaged in Corporate and Personal Life Coaching and Mentoring.

Travelling is an education and relaxation. ‘I like to begin my day with a meditation, then a workout or a cycle. Gets my mind, heart and body flowing in a positive direction!!!!'
